About Thompson Building Wrecking Company
A native of Emanuel County, Edward G. Thompson had an innate determination to make his way in life and our community. He came to Augusta as a young man and worked for Graniteville Mills and SRS before striking out to begin his own business.
Thompson Wrecking Co. started in 1961 with a home office where Edward's wife, Susan, answered the phone and helped keep the business going. That family focus has continued, and today, Thompson Building Wrecking is a cornerstone of the Augusta community, and has a long history of exceptional work through Georgia and the Southeast.
After more than 50 years of service to the Augusta community, the third generation of Thompson's is now taking its place in the business. Company President Hiram Thompson and his sons are ready to work with you – so contact us today!
